The Lab

A recording and audio post production studio.

We offer audio post production for your applications from concept to mastering and beyond. Team up with a network of artists and musicians then complete the project in our production facilities.

Whether you’re an aspiring DJ looking for a future in the music industry or just want to learn to spin for your friends, we will teach you how at The DMT Lab Disc Jockey school. Students receive expert tuition on the latest equipment and the potential to go on and make a career in the industry.

Bookings for The Digital Mountain Tribe, local or international DJ’s, VJ’s, Drummers or Dancers can be done through The DMT Lab.

For something new try fusion drumming with master drummer Mbuyiselo “Munkie” Ncapayi and music producer Test Pilot.

We offer expert facilitation for small personal groups or for large functions of up to 700 people. We provide the drums and all the equipment necessary to make it an incredible experience. Matsui808

Visual Artist

Growing up on the east coast of Canada, Matsui808 became enamored with the hard hitting techno coming out of Detroit in the early 90's mixed with the UK sounds of Bass at the time. Being influenced by 808state the Shaman, and later Alex Reese and Carl Craig led him to start throwing UK style warehouse parties.
After seeing a looped real of "Beyond the Mind’s Eye", it became obvious to Matsui808 that visuals must accompany any production.

Munkie

Master Drummer

Mbuyiselo 'Munkie' Ncapayi has been drumming since the age of 7. His natural talent has made him a very successful Master Drummer playing in bands and solo in South Africa, Canada and Europe including Amsterdam, Germany, Austria, Italy. Munkie was regarded as one of South Africa’s top ethnic drummers as well as one of the best drum teachers in South Africa.
The Digital Mountain Tribe is Munkie’s space to showcase his talent and natural ability as an artist.
